We have been using this hotel for many years now and have always been extremely pleased with the service we have received both from the friendly and efficient staff and the comfortable rooms stayed in. We recently got married in Florence and, of course, stayed at our favourite hotel and much to our delight we were upgraded to a suite which was beautiful. Cant recommend this hotel enough....

Historic Hotel in the heart of old Florence

Stayed for a week in this beautiful historic hotel in the heart of Florence. Easy walk to restaurants, shopping and attractions including the Academia, Duomo, Uffizi Gallery, Pitti Palace,the Ponte Vecchio and train station.
We had a suite overlooking the street and it was spacious and very clean. The bed was comfortable and we slept well with no noise from the street.An issue with the air-conditioning was dealt with...

My husband and I went to Florence, Italy for his bbirthday getaway. We stayed at Hotel De La Ville and to be honest it exceeded our expectations.
Our suite was ready well before the usual check-in time, and the hotel team kindly let us check in early without us even asking! It might seem like a small thing, but for us it was a very thoughful and considerate gesture.

Our family stayed in this hotel while traveling with a group of 50 people. We loved our tour company for putting us in this fantastic hotel. The rooms were perfect. There were adequate elevators for 50 people checking in at the same time.
