I booked Hotel Embassy on behalf of my parents who were travelling Italy for 2 weeks. Prior to their stay the hotel was very communitive/helpful but did respond. Upon their arrival they were aware that they had to pay for parking but found it cheeky that it was parking within the hotel and not external. We are presently staying at the hotel having reserved a room with tripple occupancy from 6thJuly2024 till 8thJuly2024. The hotel charged me euro 525 for this stay citing themselves as a four star category. This is one of most bizzare stay I have ever witnessed. I was promised a room with 4 beds. The room only has three beds. When I showed the front desk my confirmation of a room with 4 beds they told me the room I reserved wasnt available. I asked for a second room and was told they are sold out. I am traveling with four adults and we do not fit comfortably in the room. The room is too small, too old and too warm to be enjoyable. Good location but not a safe area

This hotel is in a great location to the centre of Florence. However it is not a safe area, we often saw drug use & were offered drugs near the train station.
The hotel is clean & pleasant enough. We had an issue with our room & the staff swapped us with no problems. Staff are very friendly & helpful.
A few bits let the hotel down- AC can only be controlled by reception, you have to ask them to change the temperatur...

Great trip to Florence

Super close to SMN train station and no noise from the train. One of the largest bathrooms in multiple trips to Italy we have ever had. Great breakfast Buffett and the employees were so kind. Will be staying here again the next trip to Florence. Thanks Hotel Embassy...
