We had a great stay at this hotel! The staff were very friendly at check-in and spoke good english. The room was spotlessly clean and the shower room was ultra modern and newly refurbished. A great central location and very close to many restaurants, bars and shops. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely come back the next time I am in Florence!...

Perfect location & room size

Perfect location. Only 10 mins away from main station and few mins away from Central Market and the leather market. The room is of decent size ( 1 double,2 twin)and decor & furnishings seems abit dated but the bathroom is modern with excellent shower. The room doesn't have tea/coffee facility but I think it's available in downstairs breakfast area, but the do have free water machine in the hallway & reception....

Very clean and everyone was super nice. I appreciate that they all spoke some English and they made our stay extra. Thank you to the girls at the desk and the lady in the breakfast area. The breakfast was free and basic but very nice. I think they all go above and beyond to make your stay special....

Their ranking of 3.5 star is too generous. They claim to have dry cleaning service but they do not have that or laundry service. Its self serve down the street. Our room safe did not work. Our hair dryer stopped working after 30 seconds because it was too tiny and overheated. They put the toilet underneath the bathroom sink and bidet next to door. Basically you eat sink when going bathroom. Shower stall is only for s...

Pleasant city centre stay at Hotel Galileo

Excellent location within walking distance of train & bus stations as well as main attractions. Large family room with a/c that was very welcome during our stay due to very high temperatures. Welcoming and helpful staff both at reception and at the breakfast room. More than adequate continental breakfast choice served by pleasant and attentive member of staff....
