Wonderful hotel with class. Convenient to the train station and an easy walk to most sites.

We stayed 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the staff. It is incredibly convenient if you are coming in from the train station and relatively close to the sights (10 -12 minute walk). They upgraded us into a beautiful large room and bathroom. Im not sure why all the negative reviews as everything was great! With a very late arrival being steps from the airport tram stop was excellent.
Sadly, despite enquiring well in advance, I missed out on the 20% off dinner included in my booking, as the Hotel said they only booked two weeks in advance, and I MUST (their caps) wait for them to contact me, only then to say they had no availability, a disappointing first communication, for a woman traveling solo who had no wish to go ...

A very memorable experience. The warm welcome from the porters followed through with the reception staff.
The room was well appointed with everything we needed - especially clean and comfy bedding.
Excellent breakfast with fantastic views of the duomo. We also had an authentic Tuscan dinner which was unforgettable and very reasonably priced.

Do not recommend Hotel Baglioni in Florence. While the hotel looks beautiful and elegant both outside and inside, the service and overall experience do not match its appearance. The staff were unhelpful, the room service menu was almost nonexistent, and breakfast was mediocre at best definitely not what youd expect from a 4-star hotel. The bathroom shower design is unsafe and very difficult to use. Overall, looks ...

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very convenient for the station which was helpful as we were travelling by train. But it was also easy to get around this small city walking.
We had a junior suite which was beautifully and traditionally furnished with a very comfortable bed. The room was quite dark and warm but we opened our shutters which helped. Everywhere was very clean and tidy. The bathroom was well appointed ...
