My daughter and I had a fabulous stay. The staff were so friendly, and very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, and the shower was excellent. The breakfast was a great bonus, and we loved a rooftop drink before we went out for the evening. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great spot from which to explore central Florence. What a lovely hotel. Very central. Rooms were adequate and air con was good. The rooms were cleaned every day. I think 4 star is the right rating. Breakfast was superb. A lovely selection well displayed and topped up. Staff were friendly. The roof top bar is a must although rather expensive at an average of 16 to 18 euros for a cocktail/ mocktail. We are just back from a five day break in Florence. We stayed at the Grand Hotel Cavour which we can highly recommend as an excellent place to stay. The location is very central being very near to the Duomo. The staff were so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent with a good selection to choose from.
