Avoid, Terrible rooms and mouldy

Poorly advertised and old pictures
Over rated
Rooms has mouldy toilets and the beds are not comfortable designs to be single twin rooms. I booked a double bedroom more than 4 months in advance and this is terrible. They did not allow pictures download but go to booing.com and tripadvisor or google where I will be posting my pictures shortly...

Hotel La Fortezza was very close to the train station and a short 20 min walk to the Center of Florence. It was easy to get around and the facility was really clean. The hotel staff during all hours of the day were super friendly and I really appreciated all their help with storing our suitcases and getting taxis....

Perfect hotel just 2 tram stops to train station and also easy walk from train station to center of florence. Very clean hotel, and quiet neighborhood. Comforable bed, and adorable bathroom. The reception staff was so very helpful and kind....

Had a great stay in this hotel. About 25 mins walk from central Florence (Uffizi museum etc) & about 20 mins walk from station. Very pleasant & friendly staff. Rooms very clean & comfortable. Breakfast was excellent....

Room 126 stay away

We stayed in Room 126 and were extremely disappointed with the condition of this hotel. The pictures shown on the website and even in some of the positive reviews are completely misleading. They make the rooms appear clean, updated, and well maintained, but what we walked into was the complete opposite. The room looked old, neglected, and dirty.
The bathroom shower was full of mold, not just a little bit, but thick b...
