We have stayed at several Scandic Hotels across Norway, Sweden, and Finland... and by far this hotel was the worst one. Upon checking in, we were surprised to see renovations happening - as this was not mentioned anywhere when making the reservation. This meant there was some noise, some lifts not working, and the breakfast was held across the street.

Bathroom was a disaster. Toilet didn't flush at all and water from the sink'sand shower's floor drains were flooding to the bathroom floor. Place is old and there was renovation work in progress. Dull and eerie looking place. I cannot recommend....

I am a Regular Customer of Scandic Grand Marina Helsinki and I stayed there again between March 7 and March 10 . A great THANK YOU to the lady of the reception when I arrived , who realized that I stay often in the hotel since many years and changed the room planned for me with one recently renovated ! Renovation ongoing. Restaurant closed, breakfast on the other side of the road and starting late, gym closed in the morning. No info when booking. Personell not knowing how long rebuild will last. Not impressed....
