Upon arrival we found the hotel does not look as nice as in the online ads.
The hotel door should have some work done to it because it is a beautiful old time door.
Walking into the lobby it is a wide hallway with a sofa; there is no heat in the lobby.

Basic Air b&b not Hotel

Very basic, not a hotel but air b&b. Did not know or received any codes before arriving at 10 pm. Lucky outside door wasn't locked, no one on reception after 6pm, telephone number on a board next to reception. Had to ring quite a few times before speaking to someone, they sent the codes to our room. However, when we got there, there was no key in the keysafe. Stayed 4 nights, had a room on the 1st floor. Room was big and clean, had no issues with noise. The info on the room door says cleaning is done when asked, we asked on our 3rd day and they cleaned it. The breakfast option wasn't explained properly by our booking agent, wouldn't have had it if they had explained. Very good location, reception is staffed during the day only. Just returned from 4 nights at this hotel and had a great time. Massive room, comfy bed although pillows were a little soft. Didnt get the breakfast we expected as we thought there was a breakfast room but there isnt but a lovely continental breakfast was delivered to the room each morning. There was always far too much for us so we put in the fridge for later. Nice friendly staff, accommodating, communal area ...
