Ok negative first, hotel was a little tired and dated, away from the city centre. That said we loved how friendly and helpful the staff were in particular Dorota the receptionist was very welcoming, extremely helpful with tips on where to get the tram into the main square, even offered to sort out a breakfast box as we were leaving early to fly home. A basic but clean hotel in a good location.

This hotel is very basic and a little dated but it was spotlessly clean and our room was prepped daily with fresh towels and beds made.. its not directly in the main centre but is not far at all, we got an uber for around £3.50 or there was a tram stop directly outside. Across the road is a supermarket, McDonalds, chemist, kebab shop..

Hotel Galicya is not a Best Western and not for tourists

Booked are holiday through are local Tui branch to Krakow Poland from the 19/5/25 -26/5/25 and was advised and sold the Best Western Galicya hotel,as the place to stay. I would truly advise anyone booking this hotel to stay clear as it is not a Best Western it is actually owned by the Satoria group and certainly not for tourists. The hotel itself is for conferences, school trips ect.

Awful!! Rooms fine and basic for a couple of nights. But the air con dont work and the rooms are too warm. Open a window and the outside noise keeps waking you. Couldnt eat in the hotel for both evenings as they had 2 large groups holding a function. Wasnt told by hotel. Then breakfast was limited and again the large groups took over the very small dining room and had to wait for 45 mins for a table. Wont return....

Extremely basic hotel. Breakfast was awful. Tv has no English channels or no options to watch Netflix etc. Beds extremely small and pillows very poor quality. Some staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was close to places to eat and local transport. Overall very basic....
