Lovely hotel but dont book Half Board!

Lovely historic hotel with a great location. The rooms were very comfortable however I would have preferred a walk in shower rather than having to step up and over into a bath. I did make a special request but they just didnt have them. I requested a non slip bath mat on the first morning and this was provided but access was still tight & hazardous due to the fixed clear glass side panel taking up so much room.

We truly couldnt recommend Hotel Grand more. Our wedding lunch was simply beautiful and everything was taken care of with so much attention and care.
The staff were amazing always kind, smiling, helpful and genuinely supportive. From the very beginning we felt calm and well looked after, which made such a difference on a day like this.

This hotel certainly lives up to its name
Absolutely beautiful in a great location!
Staff are polite
The rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable
What surprised me was how warm the hotel is
Everywhere was warm
I would definitely recommend this hotel for comfort and location...

The grand hotel is in an excellent location, very close to the main square. The hotel was spotlessly clean and our room was huge and cleaned daily despite only being here 4 nights, yes the furniture. is old fashioned but that goes with the decor of the rest of the hotel which is beautiful. I just checked into Hotel Grand, and this is absolutely not a 5-star property. At best, its a 3-star hotel.
Theres a big difference between vintage, old, and used this hotel is simply used. Very used. The furnishings are worn and in some cases ripped, and the overall condition feels neglected rather than charming or historic.
