A good hotel but bedroom not to our liking

Given this is a five star hotel I expected so much more from the bedroom. It was dark with dark heavy furniture and inadequate lighting. We had to leave lights on in the bathroom to give more illumination in the room, and use the torch on our phone to see properly. Everything about the room was drab and didnt leave me feeling uplifted.

Lovely 3 day trip to Krakow

I was treated to a 3 day trip with my daughter by her and others in the family, so I had nothing to do with the actual booking

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Stary. Its really well located next to the main square but at the same time quiet and peaceful. The rooftop bar has an amazing view and lovely in the sunshine. The spa is really unique and we were the only ones there both times we used it. Staff were very helpful and sorted an early check in as we flew into Krakow very early. Would definitely recommend for a good quality hotel in Krakow...

A stunning boutique hotel, amazing quirky architecture blending original stone and brick with glass, marble and concrete for a stunning effect. Rooms appointed beautifully. The cocktail bar is welcoming and inventive. The pool/sauna/steam in the basement is calming and soothing. Breakfast was excellent. Location unbeatable, right on the old town square....

Beautiful Entrance, but Disappointing Stay
I really wanted to love Hotel Stary, but unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to the expectationsespecially considering the price point.
