Cannot fault this hotel at all. We've had the best stay.
* Gorgeous views and on the river
* Staff helpful and smooth check in on arrival
* 20 mins walk by the river to the centre but a big restaurant/bar and games straight across called The Forum (which is brilliant)
* Rooms exceptionally clean and well equipped with a mini bar, Tv, netflix, air con, under floor heating, tea coffee chocolates etc

Winter wonderland to bird haven

Great value. A great hotel in a beautiful location. The river went from a frozen desert to a bird filled wetland within a few days.
The hotel was quiet and peaceful. Breakfast as good and served from 7-11am.
Our only complaint was that the cleaners always arrived around 5pm as youre getting ready to go out for the evening but we werent worried about them cleaning daily....

This barge is absolutely lovely, its clean and modern looking on the inside, stairs are steep inside so be careful you dont stack it we had swans and ducks coming up to our balcony/window every day and we fed them, boats pass by very frequently which makes the place sway a lot! I got really mad motion sickness and took me a few days to adjust back to normal after taking travel sickness tablets, keep this in mind...

Just back from a short stay at this hotel. Can honestly say it was spotlessly clean and we were given a warm welcome by staff. Rooms are well planned out and spacious. Everything you might need is available in the room. The location is a short way outside of the main city centre but its a pleasant 10-15 minute walk in reality and worth it to stay in such lovely accommodation. Lovely quirky hotel but a couple of down sides to our experience

Whilst the hotel is lovely I would not recommend it for people with mobility issues. There is a lot of building work going on around the riverside which makes it a longish walk to get to one of the 2 bridges to the Jewish quarter. We were only there for a 2 night stay and had paid for breakfast but another downside is breakfast is served in a roof top restaurant about 500 metres away and starts at 8 am to 1 pm . Fai...
