Long time Marriott member who recently upgraded to Hilton Gold through my Platinum AMEX rewards. Figured why not stay at Hilton. Didn't know Hilton Cancun in Las Vegas could be that bad. We were greeted by an unfriendly front desk who accused us of coming to party because we had four teenagers. Good hotel off the main strip south of the airport with easy access to the grocery store

1. We got a two bedroom two bath suite which ended up on the seventh floor with a balcony and extremely large.
2. The kitchen had a fridge, a microwave, a coffee maker, a giant pot, a small pot and a big bowl. We thought there was no cutlery or cutting knives, but it turned out, they were in one of the cupboards. They could not be placed into the drawers because the drawers were too small. The property was really nice even though pools were closed for winter. Rooms have been renovated except for 1 building (building 5) We were in one of the renovated buildings and the 3.5 rating dose not do it justice! Rooms are all suite 1 bedroom king had 2 full bathrooms, nicely furnished, comfortable beds!! CLEAN HOTEL!! I am a Hilton Honors member and the hotel staff treated us like we were HGV Owners! Very disappointing stay at Cancun Resorts by Hilton.
I stayed one night with my family (Dec 31Jan 1). Vegas hotels are very overpriced on New Years, which I acceptedexpecting at least basic comfort. The main purpose of a hotel is to rest, and this stay failed at that.
The AC was poorly balanced: the bedroom stayed hot while the living room became freezing, making it hard to sleep after returning late from New Year...
