Pool closures and rough service made the stay frustrating

We picked Mandalay Bay because of the pool complex. Thats the whole reason we booked it. When we arrived, almost everything was closed with no warning anywhere during booking. Everyone was packed into one very small pool, which felt strange for a place that promotes its pools so heavily.

I really enjoy the Mandalay Bay. There are plenty of things to do in the resort itself. Good restaurants and bars. Not a ton of shopping but I am not a big shopper to begin with, I normally do well in the casino there; lots of slot machines and everything is spread out so as not to feel crowded....

For the most part, I Enjoyed my stay !
Rooms were great - large comfortable with good amenities!
Above all, the room was quiet - no screaming kids , extra loud TVs, drunken morons arriving at all hours of the night slamming doors shut and spoiling the overall vibe - the same cannot be said of the New York New York ?
Didnt find the Food options particularly great ( even in the Food Court - where you get a different...

The Mandalay Bay Resort is a great spot for couples or families. I was really surprised by the amount of kids that were there. The staff was very accommodating and attentive. It's definitely a great spot and is close enough to everything on the strip. The Tram was easy to use for transportation and very safe to ride....
