Hotel Offered Room next to Elevator - BEWARE!!!

Hotel offered a room next to the elevator that operated continuously between 5 am to 3 am (22 hours a day) to guests without proper soundproofing walls and without guests' awareness at check-in through their kiosk. Once the guests realized excessive loud noise was coming from the elevator operations next to the room, guests went to the front desk to request for an alternative room away from the elevators. Stayed here for 9 nights with my husband for my 40th on arrival was upgraded with a view off the fountain and 75 dollars for food in one off the restaurants which was lovely of them. Room was spacious and clean and the cleaner what cleaned through our stay was so nice and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay here it was in a perfect location and everyone was friendly. The casino floor was always kept clean and tidy....

Great hotel very clean with friendly staff, PH is worn and its glory days are over but its still a nice hotel. I asked for an upgrade and got one with an outstanding view of the strip. The fitness centre is old and out of date with several treadmills not working there was nil disinfectant wipes to wipe down the equipment. PH needs an upgrade ASAP. I would stay again....

Good: Stayed in ultrahip king room - strip view. Comfortable and clean, has separate shower and soaking tub; water runs at good temperature.
Basic amenities provided - soap, shampoo, conditioner.
Bad : Window unclean , spoiled view, noisy, can hear neighbors speaking in corridor most nights, can hear noise from strip through the night. Shared ventilation- had smell of cannabis come through from neighbor smoking in...

My lovely wife is a fan of "stalking trip advisor" before we go away anywhere. I'd just like to say that the last few weeks before we came away there were a few negative reviews for planet hollywood but we have found the property to be lovely.
