I really have to do an honest review of this Hotel.
I'd love to say it was perfect, but.....
Positives, the staff are incredibly helpful, welcoming and friendly
The breakfast was first class
The location is excellent
We used the taxi which was arranged by the hotel & again, excellent.

We stayed here in Room #1 for several
nights in September 2025. It is one of the
largest rooms and as it faces the stree, it has lots of natural light.
Unfortunately the street noise went on at all hours so you have to shut the windows at night.
The side of the main reception desk is maybe 6 feet away from the front door of the room. So there was some noise from conversations occurring at the front desk. And conv...

Great location with excellent friendly staff

We enjoyed our stay in Alecrim ao Chiado. The location is excellent. Walking distance to many of the major tourist attractions, close to many bars and restaurants, 5 minute walk to metro, train station or the water.
The stars of the hotel are Gonçalo and Sameer. Both gentlemen were excellent hosts; providing a warm welcome, recommending restaurants and places to visit and warmly interacting whenever our paths crosse...

Perfect spot in Lisbon the Chiado area lots of shops, bars restaurants etc. Lovely street music was so entertaining. The hotel is 2mins from the metro and easy to walk to the river The hotel is small but so lovely. Warm and happy staff who were so helpful giving advice. If noise interferes with your sleep GO ELSEWHERE

Excellent location but if listening to cars rush by your window or loud young men screaming/singing at 2-3 AM nightly might interfere with your sleep GO elsewhere. We spent prior 3 nights at nearby MartinHal Hotel which charged same rate but No NOISE at night, full kitchen, refrigerator, clothes washer/dryer, elevator, better food selection for breakfast.
