Clean and pleasant hotel, but the room was let down by the view

American Diamonds Hotel is clean, well-maintained and welcoming. The staff is friendly and the common areas are nicely kept. The only downside is that the hotel is a bit far from the city centre, so you need to use public transport to get around.
The room booked through Booking unfortunately came with a drawback: the view was directly over the air-conditioning units, which made the outlook quite disappointing....

The location of the hotel is excellent, right next to the metro, and the rooms are clean and decent. Unfortunately, the service from the staff was disappointing and left a very negative impression.
We booked four rooms for a family celebration, and one of the mornings was especially important as it was both my mothers 60th birthday and my nephews 8th birthday. We requested to have the breakfast tables joined so we...

Modern hotel by Picoas metro. Room was clean and spacious, with AC and a tea kettle. But it took 10 min for the shower water to get warm. And the shower soap dispenser pump didn't work. The breakfast buffet had reasonable variety but the orange and pineapple juices were mainly colored, flavorless water. This experience was below expectations....

Absolutely astonishing! The staff were friendly and kind such as Malam. They speak a range of languages which is great( French, English, Portuguese). The rooms were fresh and clean as well they were spotless. The breakfast was a mix of everything. Also very close to the city centre shops about 10 minutes on Uber/bolt. This place should be five stars!...

This hotel is a gem. It was easy to find and there is parking nearby at a subsidised rate. The rooms are clean and comfortable, very good bed and shower. The staff could not be more helpful. There is a nice little bar with a sports channel on the TV. Drinks are very reasonable. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice.
