We were assigned this hotel through our travel agent and extremely pleased. The rooms are nice, clean, everything worked properly and there was plenty of hot water at a great pressure. No trickling out of pipes as some places.
The breakfast was included and what a spread! Hot food, fruit, yogurt, numerous sweets (including delicious custard tarts!) and every kind of coffee imaginable.

The hotel is older, but the room was clean and the breakfast was good. However, the bed was extremely uncomfortable it felt as though I was sleeping on a hardwood floor. I even had to fold the comforters from the two single beds to create some padding. After spending the entire day walking on cobblestones, you expect to return to a comfortable place to rest, but the hard mattress made it impossible. If I had to sta...

What an incredibly planned and lovely daily breakfast for your guests Portuguese egg tarts, mini-crepes, juices, and so many thoughtful little touches! My husband and myself, stayed at the HF Fenix garden hotel from the 6/9/25 to the 12/9/25. I must say it was a fantastic hotel, right in the centre of all the necessary amenities. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were courteous, helpful and friendly. A special shout out goes to Jose Alvito at the reception and Sergio Nunes in the restaurant. Location was ok with easy access to bus stops and metro. Convenient if you need to take the metro Azul line. Room was small. But bedding/mattress, air-conditioning, showers were extremely good. USB ports were available in desk area. We stayed 3 nights and with 2 free bottles of water on day of arrival....
