I can say without hesitation that this is one of the better hotels I've stayed at on during my recent travels. It is a well appointed four-star establishment at a fantastic central location, a short metro or taxi ride away from key areas like Chiado and Alfama; thus a perfect spot for tourists hoping to see all that Lisbon has to offer. We were assigned this hotel through our travel agent and extremely pleased. The rooms are nice, clean, everything worked properly and there was plenty of hot water at a great pressure. No trickling out of pipes as some places.
The breakfast was included and what a spread! Hot food, fruit, yogurt, numerous sweets (including delicious custard tarts!) and every kind of coffee imaginable.

The hotel is older, but the room was clean and the breakfast was good. However, the bed was extremely uncomfortable it felt as though I was sleeping on a hardwood floor. I even had to fold the comforters from the two single beds to create some padding. After spending the entire day walking on cobblestones, you expect to return to a comfortable place to rest, but the hard mattress made it impossible. If I had to sta...

My husband and myself, stayed at the HF Fenix garden hotel from the 6/9/25 to the 12/9/25. I must say it was a fantastic hotel, right in the centre of all the necessary amenities.
