It was my second visit to Hotel Mundial and it still offers a sublime experience. It is the little touches like getting a thank you note and a split of port to welcome me as a returning guest, the helpful and attentive staff at the front desk and at the rooftop bar coupled with a great location that make staying here such a pleasure. I'll definitely be back again....

They are refurbishing the hotel at the moment and they gave us a hotel room directly above the work that was done. Constant drilling.So loud that we could not be in our room from 10am to 6pm. Also the vibrations were unbelievable. When you opened the wardrobe door, the door was shaking! Although we complained, they were not helpful at all. So not a very good experience for us. We stayed here two nights. Check-in staff were not friendly and somewhat ignorant. The rooms are nothing special considering the price. Im not certain if all the rooms have very high bathtubs to get into but if you have hip or knee issues or are a child, it would be difficult to get into the tub/shower. The design of the shower mystifies me as the water goes out all over the floor when showering. I used all our to...

Centrally located, close to Metro and walking distance to many attractions. Arrived at 0730 from Seville, Spain and reception was busy but staff was friendly. Went to explore the area until rooms were ready. When we entered our room on the 5th floor, we wanted to get a quick nap befoee dinner but heard this loud drilling noise coming through the walls. Busy reception but staff were very helpful
Breakfast choice was typical of a continental breakfast. It was served hot and presented well. The staff again were extremely polite, friendly and attentive.
Bedroom is slightly tired but clean and comfortable. Towels lovely and soft, bathrobe and slippers were a plus. We ate in the bar one evening and the food was delicious, presented well.
