We stayed here for 2 nights and found the room to be comfortable and clean, with a great shower. The rooftop bar was excellent and the staff there were all very helpful!
The biggest issue we had was the outside noise during the night. We had a room facing the park and whilst is looked very nice with fountains, the people who loitered around it - especially after dark made loud noises all night - shouting, screaming,...

Used to be a great hotel but very tired now. Walls in ha all marked. Lobby furniture old and worn. Not enough staff to handle check-in traffic....

Great Location - Outdated Rooms with Uncomfortable Beds

I stayed with a friend for a week at the Hotel Mundial a week ago. I would give it 5 stars for location and price. It was an easy walk from there to many places of interest (St. George's castle, the river, the ferry). The rooms do not appear to have been refurbished in years (they did seem generally clean) and the beds are hard as a rock (like sleeping on a slab of cement). We had a group of 10 having a great time until the waitress told us to quiet down after we had drinks in 2 bars 1 at each and dinner in the restaurant food was over priced and average....
