Fantastic hotel, right next to castle. Wonderful court yard with fire pit. (Enjoy the cold plunge pool after a hot day's exploration of Lisbon)
Free tea, coffee and cakes served all day.
Lovely bedrooms, amazing staff.
The peacock are everywhere, Lovely to look at but do bring ear plugs!
A really beautiful oasis in a great city....

Lovely hotel with friendly staff, help yourself to the refreshments which were available all day in the lounge area. The hotel is situated right next to the castle with easy access to trams and buses. Well worth a visit, be aware that Peacocks roam the area and can be very vocal, they did not spoil our stay...

One of Lisbons best kept secrets. Solar do Castelo blends history and ambience beautifully. The staff (and peacocks) are always welcoming.
Solar is worth the trip from anywhere....

Fabulous hotel in great location

This is a gem of a boutique hotel situated right next to Castelo de Sao Jorge. There are Peacocks in the garden of this beautiful building. The staff were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble.
We spent a fabulous 4 days here and its an excellent base to discover Lisbon.
This area of Lisbon is quite a climb from the centre so may not be suitable for all....

A very nice Hotel on a unique location on the hill next to the famous Castle Castelo de Sao Jorge. Everything is in walking distance. Me and my son love this boutique hotel with there service good breakfast and the after 4 table with nice caked and good prosecco etc....
Nice people behind the reception and on the floor always friendly and helpfull....
