My experience at the Tivoli Avenida Liberdade was definitely 5-star. I extensively researched every 5-star hotel in Lisbon (including The Four Seasons) before finally deciding to stay at the Tivoli. Exploring Lisbon staying at the Tivoli Hotel. Amazing experience. It might be double what I would normally pay for a hotel but it was double the pleasure and some more. I recently returned to the Tivoli, Lisbon for a business- related workshop, and again I could not have been more impressed with the experience.
The spacious, modern, and impeccably clean room along with the high standard of comfort and thoughtful amenities (esp. the port ) made it easy to unwind. The beds were extremely comfortable, so much so that I ended up over sleeping!

The room I was allocated back in July did not have working wifi even though this is a promised inclusion of the hotel Hence I needed to use my own mobile internet to arrange onward flight bookings and I reported this to the hotel. First class service with a smile

Almost without exception, every interaction with staff whether housekeeping, concierge and restaurant was helpful, with a smile and very effective. Particular shout out to Wellington in the restaurant dealing with very fussy customers.
I have rarely come across such a uniformly first class standard of service....
