We were there in October.
We had to make a reservation for the same day.
When we arrived at the hotel which was late in the evening we had to wait for over an hour to check in.
We were tired, it was late, and with a 5-year-old child, that is simply unacceptable.
I am Swiss-portuguese and I know the Tivoli quite well. It should be one of the best hotel brands in Portugal. It wasn't the receptionists' fault that we had...

The Tivoli Oriente was the perfect place to refresh and rejuvenate after our overnight flight.

Relaxing stay in a strategic spot

We chose this hotel because of its location. We were traveling by flixbus/train and it is right next to the station. One side has a view of the river. We had planned to take a walk by the Riverside or but due to the rain we went to the shopping mall. The perfect location for travelers to pick up some extra holiday items or outfits. The hotel has a gym, nice size pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steamroom....
