This fantastic hotel is ideally located in the heart of the city, just a 10-minute walk from the bus and train station. Its prime location allows easy access to all the city's attractions.

We had a beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the old town. The bathroom was large and modern with hard floors throughout. The staff was very friendly and helpful, with great English. Breakfast was plentiful and they restocked the buffet often....

This excellent hotel is within easy walking distance of most sights in Ljubljana. We were on an upper floor so the room had a great view of the cathedral and castle from the balcony. The room was quite large. Breakfast included a large variety of very good food....

After much debating about where to stay for two nights in Ljubljana, I am glad I chose City Hotel. The location was perfect for both exploring the old and new town, and getting to and from the train station, a 10 minute walk away.
The room was so peaceful, especially as the window overlooked the centre of the building, a view into the reception area from above, which meant there was absolutely no street noise. The s...

Central location but not able to control room temperature so uncomfortable and sweaty every night. Hotel had switched ac off.

Centrally contrrolled climate control was poor with rooms and central areas too warm for 20 degree evening temperatures.Hotel brought fan but made no difference .
Could improve atmosphere by switching off spotlights in the bar as very stark.
Breakfast and service in general were good though....
