Last minute hotel change from another central hotel which was a very good choice. Castle view executive room on floor 13. Very clean and functional room, good shower and comfortable bedding. Building built in the 70s, although many areas are renovated, many details (like golden metal decorations and seats at the bar) give off a halflway job. Elevators are poorly coodinated, long waits, shower in dark color to hide dirty joints of the tiles. Soiled and used up, cloth bed head. The hotel is excellent, the staff is really nice and helpful, the rooms are clean with beautiful view. Breakfast has a lot of choice with all types of food. If I come back to Ljubljana I would choose this hotel again. The location is in the center, walking distance to all of the spots in he town....

Exe Lev is in a good position, if you need bus station or railway station. It is also not so far from old part of the city. But

I was there for 2 nights. Front desk is open 24/7,which is a big plus. Only one person working a front desk during the day is not enough!! When I came in, the poor woman had to pick up phones,make reservations, talk to guests and solve their room problems......I felt sorry for her :(
Room was ok,bathroom also. Little bit older equipment in rooms, lift also.
