5-Star prices, 1-Star standards and Dishonest Practices

Our stay here was nowhere near the standard of a 5-star hotel.
From the outset, the service was unprofessional. On arrival, we witnessed a receptionist arguing with a guest who had been waiting a long time to check in, openly annoyed, dismissive and saying Im on my own.

Although not a cheap hotel, its quality is well worth the price. The hotel's infrastructure is fantastic, the staff are friendly, and even though it was practically full during New Year's Eve, they managed to handle the breakfast, ensuring that guests had everything they needed. The hotel's location is also very good, making it possible to reach the city center on foot, and the bus and train stations are right next t...

The Grand Plaza Hotel Ljubljana presents itself as a modern, upscale property with a clean, contemporary design and the overall feel of an international business hotel. Delicious breakfast with a beautiful service and a view on the mountains. This is a good reason to stay at the Grand Plaza. I will come back again....

I enjoyed my stay at Grand Plaza very much - their junior suite was beautiful and spacious, and I found the staff to be friendly and helpful, often going the extra mile for their guests. Breakfast was rich and tasty. The only downside is that the hotel doesn't have a spa. Good location....
