Overnight stay prior to transport to the airport

We had a one night stay as we'd travelled from the south east of Spain to fly from Madrid on a long haul flight.
The food in the restaurant was good. The shuttle service to the airport was good

Misleading and poor customer service

Good place overall, but my experience was tainted by the receptionist, Andrea. When the airport shuttle left a minute early 9:29 instead of 9:30 from a completely different pick up place (or at least we were not told that the shuttle left from next door), instead of being helpful, she simply shrugged and blamed us. Air conditioning turned off

This hotel is modern and close to the airport. Free shuttle is provided to and from the airport. The beds are comfortable but the room was HOT. Apparently the air conditioning has been turned off for the season without regard for the room temp. We spent a miserable night before our flight home....

No coffee or tea in the rooms

It was expensive. One would have thought that such a hotel would provide tea/coffee in the rooms (indeed there was a kettle). But NO. On enquiring they said that there supplier had let them down. This means that they did not have the gumption to go out and get extra supplies. Poor management....

Ruthless Efficiency

Ruthlessly efficient, a touch underwhelming. Restaurant staff were excellent, friendly and helpful in very busy circumstances.
The hotel shares its facilities (except the check in desk) with its neighbouring hotel. For example the (tiny) bar, restaurant and gym are next door. The spa however is in this one as is the breakfast room.
