They try, but do not quite succeed

Quite nice, especially in the public areas of the hotel. Obviously made from a number of buildings knocked together, which leads to rooms and corridors with slightly odd shapes.
But they need to improve their communications and processes. They seemed disorganised and lacking in competence. They advertise feather bedding on their website. We have allergy issues, so cannot have this, and so added a note to our booking...

We selected Hotel Casa de las Artes through Chase Sapphire The Edit benefits. We were happy to be here. The hotel itself is beautiful and conveniently located, yet a bit out of the center of tourist crowds. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had a touch of luxury. I expected more as this establishment is on American Express hotel collection. We waited 30 minutes or so at check in due to their check in process with other people also sitting or standing in cramped entry area. Uncertain if we received an upgrade room as offered if available, but our room was small, with limited or no clothing drawers or closets.
