The hotel is well located, close to the Prado, but unfortunately that is its main redeeming feature.
Due to a last-minute misunderstanding, my booking was cancelled shortly before arrival and later reinstated at check-in, resulting - coincidentally? - in a grim ground-floor room facing a dark internal courtyard. On this visit, I stayed for only one night as I'd travelled from Málaga to attend a miniatures fair in the city. I was checked in by Alejandro wo gave me a friendly welcome and upgraded my room. I used my Travel Cash from the Catalonia Rewards Scheme to reduce my bill, very useful.
