We received an exceptionally warm welcome and a friendly farewell from Mabudo. Our first impression was the pleasant fragrance in the lobby. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and was delicious. Compliments to the breakfast staff for their excellent service....

Perfect place, with perfect beds!

This location is perfect to walk to a lot of Madrids must see places. Enjoy the courtyard, order some wine and little bites. More than anything though, the beds were comfortable, the sheets very nice and the pillows were perfect. If you are like me and enjoy a great nights sleep this spot is for you!...

In April we had a one week stay at Catalonia Puerta del Sol in Madrid. The hotel is very well located. Its on Calle Atocha, but our street facing room was still quiet. A short walk away are Plaza Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor. All of Madrids major museums were within walking distance, at most a 30 minute walk to the Prado, Sofia Reina, Thyssen-Bornemisza, the Naval museum, the Palacio collection and the Archeolog...

We found the hotel to be in a good location - easy walking distance to most attractions (very close to the Plaza Mayor). Our room was clean and the people at the front desk were friendly. The breakfast buffet was pretty good - yummy cheese and amazingly good bread, tortillas were pretty good (and they had a huge container of Nutella with a pump dispenser).
