Very good hotel in the center of Madrid, close to many atractions, good breakfast, comfortable bed and pillows and very nice staff....

Everything was superlative: great location, helpful and friendly staff, lovely and comfortable rooms (spotless cleaning, soft towels, sumptuous bed) and excellent and plentiful breakfast. Easy to find a variety of excellent restaurants nearby and the great museums (The Prado, etc., as well as the GalerÃa de las Colecciones Reales are easy walks). We will return to Madrid for our third trip in so many years. We lov...

We had a wonderful stay here. The hotel was extremely comfortable, great amenities and very centrally located. Fresh mineral water every day in the room. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. The women who run the breakfast room went out of their way to be helpful and were friendly, attentive and funny. Delicious and very varied breakfast choice (amazing omelette)

We stayed at Catalonia Las Cortes for two nights and absolutely loved it. The hotel is gorgeous and full of character, set in a beautiful historic building that adds so much charm. The location couldnt be better right in the heart of Madrid'sBarrio de las Lateras, close to the Royal Palace, Retiro Park, Plaza Mayor, and the Gran VÃa shopping area. Gem Hard to find such hotels now a days. Gr8 pricing. Huge rooms. Good service. Brilliant location. Best bed on the planet.
If I were to be critical I'd say air con in summer could be an issue, but we visited in october end and it was perfect so can't really say....
