The front desk employee (a gentleman) assigned us a room with two single beds even though we are a couple. The beds were pushed together to look like a queen or full-size bed, but they couldnt actually be used as onethere was a large gap between them. Im still confused why he didnt bother to ask whether we preferred two singles.

Hotel Atlántico is perfectly locatedyoure central to everything you need to see and do in Madrid. The hotel itself is lovely, though a little dated, and our room was very spacious. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, which made our stay very pleasant.

The rooms are well furnished, the breakfast very good and the Roof Terraces a special place at sunset.
The prices are moderate for a 5 Star experience....

Great location on Gran Via (2 mins from the metro station). Arrived a few hours before check/in and a room was available so they kindly let us check in. The room was clean, large, quiet and comfortable with an impressive bathroom. Unfortunately the room only had a window with frosted glass overlooking a very small enclosed terrace.
