The hotel was everything we required. Close to shopping and attractions. We walked everywhere so the location was perfect. Room was clean and meet our needs. Staff was kind and helped when required. Breakfast onsite was ok. One evening we ordered drinks from the bar and the hotel packed everything up so we could take to our room - that was perfect. Room safe was good. Slippers - nice touch. The GOOD: location is fantastic. We had the "french" balcony room overlooking the Via Grand. It was wonderful and VERY QUIET when the doors are shut. Im a light sleeper. So trust me when I say quiet. The room was spot less and very well appointed. Only disappointment was no coffee /nespresso in the room. Bed/linens/ pillows best in Spain. NOT GOOD: no concierge or service. This is a beautiful old hotel, reasonably priced. Our room is very tastefully furnished with a huge bed and there is plenty of space in the bathroom and wardrobe. There is plenty of choice at the breakfast bar. The lounge area on floor 9 is very comfortable with free tea and coffee. The staff on the front desk are extremely helpful and informative. When I return to Madrid I will head straight for the Atlantico....

Great position. The hotel is very smart. Breakfast is good. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Theres a bar on the top floor with terraces looking over the city. Just a shame the bar isnt better stocked. No restaurant - but this isnt a problem with so many good restaurants around....

This hotel is in an unbeatable location, right in the heart of Gran Via, Madrid. Its within walking distance of everything you need, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. The staff are always welcoming and accommodating, and the rooms are impeccably clean and spacious. The bathroom is well-maintained, and the overall comfort is top-notch.
