A great stay to explore Madrid as a family

We stayed as a family of four - the rooms are spacious, clean and well laid out. Beds were very comfortable. The hotel looks very modern and well invested. The location was great a few minutes walk to a Metro station and youre in the city centre in around 20 mins. Theres a supermarket very close to the hotel too.

Annoying arrival, annoying stay

1. Was told my room was ready but it would be £20 to check in two hours early. Would not charge it to the room.
2. Hotel Wifi pop up to log in went to a blank page. Reception could only repeat the username and password and send a maintenance man up who thought his job was to fix my tv. Did not want me to come down and show them the problem.
3. Luckily their conference wifi was wide open.

Disappointing

My first night in Madrid was at the Hotel Ilunion Suites Madrid. While the room was big, I was given twin beds when I specifically requested a double bed. In the bathroom, there were 4 very long hairs in 4 different places. These were clearly not my hairs. A disappointing start to my vacation....

Good location and nice people

The staff at this hotel are lovely. We especially appreciated Maria and Alex. I had a broken ankle and they were very accommodating. We enjoyed the breakfast, which had many options including eggs made to order. The location was convenient to many shops and the metro lines. We appreciated the value for the price....

Great location and spacious room :) At the airport they had lost my luggage so lady at the reception Maria was very helpful and nice! :)...
