An issue arose with my reservation.
I spent two days trying to speak with the manager who was never available.
The staff on reception were pleasant and sympathetic but did not have the authority to deal with the issue.
My stay was ruined by the managements total disinterest in this guest....

We stayed three nights at Hotel Liabeny (room 706) and had a miserable experience. Each night, rooftop parties across the street blasted loud music and shouting from 11p.m. to 6a.m., making sleep impossible. While the hotel can't control its neighbors, it can invest in soundproofingyet the window in our room was so ineffective it might as well have been open. A fantastic hotel in a very good central location. Check in was easy and knowledge of English exceptional. Hotel room was spotless, (cleaned every day) and spacious with good wardrobe space, mini bar (extra cost), TV, adequate sockets, clean crisp bedding changed daily as were towels. I booked this hotel in Sept 2024 for an upcoming trip in May 2025. However, in December I had to cancel this trip because my company was summoned to appear in the court as a witness for a business litigation, and I am the only person who is familiar with everything about this case.

FREE CANCELLATION LIES!

Whie the hotel may be very nice, their "free cancellation" policy is fraudulent and misleading! Nothing short of your death or an "Act of God" would entitle you to a refund. No matter how far in advance your cancel, you still pay for the entire reservation. I don't endorse any place which endorses such deception....
