Madrids Gran VÃa is a beautiful street where historic corporate palaces have turned into exciting modern spots. At the entrance stands the grand Metropolis Buildingonce an insurance office, now an exclusive boutique property. Nearby, the old Bank Building is a massive flagship Zara clothes store.
The iconic Telefonica Building, a communication masterpiece was getting ready with incredible energy for Pope Leo XIVs...

Spectacular street

There are countless striking buildings along this street in central Madrid.
It is also full of excellent shops, cafes, entertainment centres and restaurants....

Good location, quiet, solid three star

Hotel carved out of an old building. The space is confusinglike a maze to get to some rooms. Curiously we had a cheaper non balcony room for one night and it was bigger than the balcony room. Breakfast is meh. The location was good, it was quiet and the staff were friendly and helpful....

The apartments are well appointed and located and serviced, but the whole experience was soured by lack of help retransport and pick up .the induction hot plate very hard to use, had to ask for a kettle. not to mention that coffee pods are not restocked each day and charged for after the first day, per pod.Given the cost of the hotel thats penny pinching!...

Impressive Buildings Not So Stores

You should spend a few minutes on Gran Via for the architecture alone, its quite impressive. Beyond that its a string high end stores that you can find anywhere. Lavapies and Del Duque de Alba are much more interesting streets....
