Perfect stay in Madrid. Spacious rooms with all the facilities. Our coffee & tea replenished daily and beds made. The foyer lobby area was decorated beautifully for Christmas and friendly welcoming staff on hand whenever you need them. I have already recommended this hotel to family and friends. ...

Good lcentral location with easy access to the airport

This hotel is particularly convenient if you are having an overnight stay before going back to the airport for a flight as it is easily accessible on the metro from the airport. There is a sister hotel around the corner from here, the NH Zurbano. The latter is more modern and more geared up to the business traveller. The Abascal is more traditional and has a slightly tired feel to it.

Robbery at breakfast and no responsibility

I stayed at NH Collection Madrid Abascal with my family and was robbed in the hotel restaurant during breakfast, right before my flight. The restaurant was nearly empty at that time, and it seemed the staff knew we were checking out that morning. My handbag with my wallet and iPhone disappeared in just a few minutes.
