The room was very disappointing. It was noisy due to the fridge and far too hot, even though the radiator had been turned off. Overall, it was a bad experience....

Excellent hotel of superior quality. Reception/greeting, checkout staff all very friendly and welcoming.
Breakfasts amazing. Nothing too much trouble.
Location fantastic with 3 metro stations within 5 minutes walk on metro 20 mins to Retiro park, Sol, Callor Millor street, Grand Via. Airport took us 30minutes to and from hotel direct to Nuevos Ministerios tube on line 8, then to line 10 one stop to Gregorio Marano...

During my first visit to Madrid, I stayed at this hotel, and it was fantastic. The staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The hotel's cozy atmosphere and clean, tastefully decorated spaces were a great fit for me. Although it has an old-fashioned charm, it adds character with its historic Madrid architecture. My wife and I had a wonderful long weekend thanks to the friendly courtesy staff at this beautiful property in the heart of Madrid. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the restaurant was fabulous. Overall we truly enjoyed our stay at the NH Abascal in the Chamberà section....

The hotel is really gorgeous, the staff is very professional, nice and always ready to help. The hotel is very well located, near the main streets, restaurants and of Paseo de la Castellana or Goya. I highly recommend this hotel and I will come back another time....
