I went on a business trip and it was ok. It definitely didn't feel like 4*.
Positives: - very large rooms, nice bar area. Nothing horrendous about the experience
Negatives - a lot of decor very dated and tatty. Not enough lifts for large groups of people at conferences. Queues for lifts were around 15 minutes most days.
Food was very average, albeit breakfast was by far the best.

Ognoring do not disturb signs

The hotel is ignoring do not disturb signs. I left my room and placed a do not disturb sign on the door. When I returned the cleaner was in the room, he told me that he saw the sign but his boss told him to ignore it. Reception informed me that they would follow up but I have not heard from them to date....

Locked Out of My Room A True Nightmare

On my last night at the hotel, I came back at 3:00 am and my room door would not open because of a technical failure in the locking system. After more than an hour and a half waiting in the middle of the night, at 4:30 am I was forced to sleep in a different room because staff couldnt open mine.
