The room was hotter than hell- took two hours to realize only heat was on for the rest of the year. Staff should have known this but they wasted two of my hours in Madrid! Husband had food posionong and we had to deal with staff who had no idea that the heat was on - first they kept acting like I was the incompetent person who could not make the air work. Lovely hotel close to transportation & shopping!

We were in Madrid without a car, arriving by train. This delightful hotel was reasonably priced and within walking distance to many sights. It was also near the Atocha train station which made train and metro access very handy! We found a pharmacy a block away and great laundry about 3 blocks away as well as other nearby shopping. We would definitely stay again!...

Patricia was excellent host at breakfast,room also excellent,location was great.nice ambiance, and walking distance from Atocha train station....
