Perfectly located in the upscale and fashionable Barrio Salamanca, the NH Lagasca is a nice hotel, with a very good staff. They helped us in finding a taxi in the rush hour of saturday, coming out in the strett and making sure the taxi was coming. Room was nice but a little dark, the quality of the bed however was excellent. A good hotel, in a perfect location, maybe a Little expensive....

I stayed at this hotel for 5 days and 6 nights, and unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing.
First, the staff were unfriendly and unhelpful from the beginning. Almost no one spoke a single word of English, and they made no effort to understand what we were trying to say. Communication was constantly frustrating.

The location of the hotel is perfect right in Barrio de Salamanca, just two blocks from Puerta de Alcalá and Parque del Retiro. We reserved a Superior Room, and although we were told thats what we were given, it was much smaller than the one we had during our previous stay. I believe the hotel should be more careful when managing room categories and availability, so that guests are assigned a room that truly match...

I had an excellent experience at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and everything was spotless, both the rooms and common areas. The location is fantastic, surrounded by many restaurants, bars, and shops. Theres even a local market right across the street thats worth visiting.

Front office staff were rude. Lacking very basic English skills. Very dated room. Old and unpresentable. Room was incomplete. No slippers, no toothbrush. Towels are old and stained, blackout curtains have holes. Telephone does not work, as I tried to call housekeeping. Incoming calls only. What if there's an emergency?
