Pestana CR7 Madrid excellent city centre hotel

Excellent location on Gran Via in the heart of Madrid. Bonus for visiting Prado and other museums because free 001 bus from just outside the hotel takes you there. Our hotel room had very comfortable beds, a large TV with British channels, walk in shower with easy to operate controls, full range of toiletries and something we appreciate is a large area either side of the basin. Really enjoyed my stay at Pestana CR7. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout, and nothing felt like too much trouble. Rooms were clean, well-designed, and had a nice modern feel without being try-hard about it.
The views were a highlight, great from the room, and the rooftop is well worth a visit. A solid all-round stay and I'd happily come back....
