Great hotel and great location.

The hotel was excellent and the staff was exceptional. They anticipated every need and were flawless in providing a great experience. The location is close to museums, excellent neighborhood restaurants and shops. And the Mercado de San Miguel which is around the corner was the cherry on top!...

We really enjoyed out stay. The concierge and front desk staff were wonderful, so helpful. The location was great- rooms were completely quiet despite being right on the plazza. The rooms were lovely and the hotel had very nice spots to sit , read a book, check emails etc. We would happily stay here again if in Madrid!...

Amazing (and consistent!) service!
I stayed at Pestana Plaza Mayor for two days after I had decided to extend my Madrid trip and changed areas from Retiro to Plaza Mayor.
I chose Pestana as I had stayed at their properties outside Lisbon and in NYC - and both were wonderful, and the Plaza Mayor property was just as fantastic!
