Good food, both appetizers and mains. Lisandra, the server, was very helpful and friendly. She gave good advice on wine, as well.
The only downside, about which the restaurant was pretty well helpless, was a toy vendor on the plaza, with a squeaky toy that became very irritating...
Comfortable chairs with back support cushions - not a negligable item after a day of walking around....

What a wonderful start to our holiday. No sooner had we stepped out of our taxi, our suitcases were taken from us and replaced with a glass of Cava. We had a beautiful room facing the Plaza. Contrary to some reviews, this was not too noisy, even on the busy market day. Room had everything we needed. A special mention to the house keeping, which was excellent. This was my 3rd time at thr Pestana Plaza Mayor. Feels like home to me! The staff is amazing! Josemi and Alejandro villa, took good care of us, with great tips for the city! We love the breakfast room and whole atmosphere! The location is perfect and our room was sunny althought it was facing the indoor patio! Will always be back!...
