Great for First-Timers to Madrid
Travelled on 09/2025
Hotel Puerta America was a great choice for our recent visit to Madrid. We chose it because it wasnt too far from the airport, but also located close to public transport (with two subway stops within a ten minute walk).
Service was good, and the decorations for the hotel were a stand-out. Beware if youre a coffee or tea drinker, there are no kettles in the room.

An architectural marvel that falls a bit short
Travelled on 09/2025

Turned a Rough Day Into a Wonderful Experience
Travelled on 09/2025
From start to finish, this hotel delivered an amazing experience. After a very stressful day with airline delays and lost baggage, the staff went above and beyond to help me. On arrival back at the hotel we were told our room number on the 11th floor. The landing of this floor is dark and dreary and the room not much better!!!!
No mini bar like the hotel states other than 2 bottles of water! No Tea and coffee ma...

Not a 5-Star HotelMore Like a 2
Travelled on 07/2025
Puerta America Madrid was a major letdown. Its marketed as a luxury 5-star property, but in reality, it felt more like a 2-star experience. I stayed on the Zaha Hadid floor, which, while visually interesting, was completely covered in dustterrible for anyone with allergies. The room design was so focused on being cool and unconventional that it sacrificed basic comfort and usability. Nothing felt intuitive or gue...
