Hotel is in a good position with a metro across the road. ButThe place shows its age, the plumbing is ancient then a horrendous smell from the bathroom. Then the bathroom roof starts leaking. Hotel offered another room, a better one, but move your luggage yourself. No apologies, no have a free drink or anything. Then the safe in the second room doesnt work, and reception dont understand a word you say ! Dont bot...

Fabulous stay on May half term week. Room was perfect, on 4th floor opposite lift but not disturbed by noise. Beds comfy. We slept really well. Shower good. We had breakfast which was good choice and set us up for the day. Ate one evening in the cafe, nice food and drinks and at a reasonable price too. Supermarket nearby for drinks. Fridge in toom

Overall happy with our stay. Fantastic location which was very convenient but facilities at the hotel were ok. Rooms were a bit dated and dusty and the hallways were noisy at night but the convenience of the location offset this....

Great place to stay if you want to e Florence the Old Madrid and Palacio regions where the royal palace, Cathedral, main shopping areas, main parks and museums plus an unending range of restaurants and cafés are located. All within walking distance from the hotel as well. Though we found that public transport was available all thd time if we needed but we preferred just to walk the streets. We just had one of those trips where things go sideways. It happens.
I would like to give a huge compliment / Shout out to the staff at the hotel. The front desk was awesome when my wifes wallet got stolen on the metro. The gentleman at the front desk couldnt have been more helpful in what to do next and how to get things resolved. In addition, we had also forgotten a couple of items in the hotel room in the flur...
