A Warm, Delightful Place to Stay

Our original reservation at another nearby hotel was mysteriously and dismissively canceled, and we happened to be meeting friends for an evening tour at Roomate Alba and inquired whether they might have any available rooms. In stark contrast to the other hotel, the front desk staffer named Pablo was exceptionally warm and helpful so we got to stay there. He was representative of the generally friendly staff there....

Central and comfortable location with small standard rooms

The best thing about this hotel was the location. It was right in the centre of things and in a pedestrianised area. The hotel was stylish, clean, and staff were polite and visible. The standard room was very small with very little space to put anything. There was no desk, only a tiny round table that just about held my laptop. What an absolute gem of a hotel! It's located in the charming Las Letras neighborhood, steps away from any number of cool restaurants/bars, in a pedestrian area. Felicia at the front desk in particular was so nice. We told her that we are working on Spanish and she very kindly spoke it with us and tolerated our slowness instead of just switching to English. She gave us a map and great information for setting out ...

A gem of a hotel.

This is a wonderful hotel in a great location. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The best part, however, was Barbara, the front desk employee who helped us locate our phone that we left in a taxi. We never would have retrieved it if she had not gone above and beyond her duties to locate the taxi!...
