Unexpected stay in Madrid

After a cancelled trip to cordoba we had to find accommodation in Madrid. The Victoria hostel, accommodated us at the right price at short notice.
Its a rabbit warren over 5 floors above shops and businesses. The twin room we had was very clean, the shower was very good and they provided small soap and shampoo.

We had a very good experience especially because we have the plaza del sol near us and a very good location in Madrid
There are two beds that are together but one night I nearly roled in the middle of the two beds except that everything is amazing...

You couldn't ask for a more convenient location. We were able to walk to most of what we wanted to see. The included breakfasts were ample. And we loved the outdoor restaurants just out the hotel door....
