My mom, sister and I went to Miami for Art Basel weekend - which is very fun and frenetic! The National is always a favorite of ours and they didn't disappoint this time.
They have a happy hour every night from 5-7 which is a fun little treat and the rooms are relatively small but very clean.

Manuela at poolside was a highlight of our stay. She is sweet, bright, helpful, and anticipated all our needs. I loved the atmosphere, location on the beach, rooms and top line service. Everyone was amazing. We were treated like Royalty. The only disappointing item was their breakfast menu. Eggs Benedict is a must at any high end hotel. I hope they add a variety of Benedicts to the menu by the time I visit again....

We stayed midweek for Art Basel. The hotel is quaint and old world deco with a smaller more intimate restaurant and a long luxurious pool, and cabana bar with access to the beach. The rooms are small as are the bathrooms. Overall a charming hotel.
