TWO HOUR DELAY FOR A PARTY OF 20! ZERO HELP FROM THE FRONT DESK!!!

The single gentleman manning the front desk in the afternoon of 06/11/2026 was uncooperative and would not help with a 10-room order for 20 guests that was verified digitally over email, then on the phone 2 weeks prior, then literally in-person on Sunday the 7th.

This place calling itself a 4-star hotel is honestly a joke its barely a 2-star motel at best. Everything is outdated, dirty, and completely different from whats advertised online. The rooms felt neglected, the furniture looked ancient, and cleanliness was clearly not a priority.

Very disappointing stay at Riviera Hotel South Beach.
The room was not cleandusty surfaces and a general feeling of neglect.
Being on the first floor felt like being right out on the street, with constant noise from outside, especially at night, making it very hard to sleep.
Definitely not the relaxing experience I was expecting.
Would not recommend.....

Hotel is rated 4 star, it is not. We had a group staying there for a conference down the street, and the pics below are 3 different rooms. Mold, stench and multiple other issues as you can see in the pictures attached. Walls and floors are thin and you can hear noise from other guests in their rooms. It's labeled as a hotel, I would say motel at best. Would be great for college spring break, but not for business trav...

Located in walking distance to south beach, the Miami Botanical gardens and many wonderful restaurants. Rooms are great. The staff were incredibly helpful and saved our honeymoon....
