I was on a pool pass on Saturday at the Tony Hotel. Beautiful rooftop pool. Concierge Jamie at the lobby gave me advice on certain spots to go to. Restaurants, clubs, and recommendations were on point. Thank you Jamie. I will be making my stay at the Tony Hotel when I return to Miami Beach....

The hotel has excellent ratings so we were extremely surprised when we saw our room, Collins Standard room #102. We stay in 4 star hotels and expected (based on ratings) that we would experience a 3/4-star stay. We thought a queen size bed would be fine because we are not large people and its not uncommon that we book queen sized beds when traveling. Adequate room and location, BUT the noise from (presumably) aircon units adjacent am to our room made it virtually impossible to sleep. Imagine being on cruise ship below decks with machinery making the floor vibrate and constantly drumming. Then multiply by 10. Dreadful and cannot recommend...

Couldnt wait to stay in this art deco property !!
And it doesnt disappoint. The features were amazing especially the lobby and the pool on the roof top with lovely comfortable sun lounges. It felt like you were going back in time and felt so authentic. The room was large and comfortable even though the furniture was a bit tired, but we didnt mind as it felt very special to stay here right in the heart of South Be...
