This Italian trip for us was about enjoying refurbished buildings being brought back to life in creative ways and Avani was chosen for that. Loved the cutesy take on a restored former train station - our corner suite on first floor was room was well-designed to maximise closet space and personal comfort. Fluffy bathrobes!!! We had a very pleasant stay. Hotel room was lovely (4th floor). It was spacious, comfortable and had everything you needed. Lovely staff, impressive reception area and welcome. I think however, the ground floor communal areas could be better. The 247 snack bar type lounge was well furnished but cut off from other area really and was always empty. We have just returned from a 3 night stay, from the moment you will in the staff are attentive friendly and so helpful. Honestly I can't specifically name one member of staff as standout as they all were super helpful. Don't like leaving negative reviews but this was just so-so. The staff are super nice and well-intentioned but there were a few things that weren't ideal.
-Room was facing the street and super noisy. We found the skylight somewhat hard to use and learned to live with the light streaming in during the morning.

Very disappointed, booked the junior suite, it was very small. It was like 1 regular room split in 2 parts. Not much leg room to get around the bed. Also, I was excited for the spa being included, to be informed at the desk we get 30 mins total for a 5 night stay. Very confusing, should get 30 mins for each night.
