I cannot begin to find the words to express how wonderful our stay was! What a hotel!! We stayed here for our 17 year anniversary and asides from its obvious beauty and perfect central location, there is so much to say about the staff who make it stand against many other hotels we have stayed in. The staff cannot help you enough. We didnt want to fall in tourist traps of where to eat so we asked for recommendations ...

Watch for hidden charges at end of your stay. Questionable billing tactics.

An otherwise adequate stay was marred when at checkout the front staff tried to extract 40 euros gratuity. I was told (only when asked) that it was optional but customary in Milan, which is entirely false. Its frankly ridiculous and insulting - especially in Italy! Hotel management claims that they started the new policy to compensate for quality service. My suggestion to them is to pay their team fairly so they do...
