We happily returned to the Rafael For five nights. We continue to really like the location, the staff, the rooms, and even the breakfast. My previous complaints about no conditioner, and no toilet paper were no longer valid. The hotel rooms and bathrooms have been upgraded. In the bathrooms we found fluffy towels, lots of light, and ample amenities. Hotel staff were even able to direct us on use of public transporta...

Room was spotless and included all the basic amenities - soap, shampoo, body wash, kettle. Shower pressure was high and water hot. Staff were excellent, polite and provided quick services. Now onto one of the locks to any man's heart - food... The breakfast buffet was great, coffees were available and a wide variety of foods. They typically had four hot foots, which rotated. Lovely Lodging in the Heart of Rome

Our stay at the San Raffaello was simply divine. The location (an easy walk from the Roma Termini) was exactly what we needed and was within walk or train rides to virtually all parts of the city. There are plenty of fun bistros in the area as well.
The highlight, by far, was the superior hospitality we received by both the front desk staff and the breakfast team. Speaking of breakfast ... don't skip the most import...

The hotel is very good. I chose it based on the location and the price, and I was satisfied with the value. The single room was small, but that's not unusual in Europe. The room fit my needs perfectly.
At check-in the gentleman at the desk mentioned that when I check-out I will be able to include a percentage of the total to tip the staff and that it is optional. T wasn't sure I understand correctly. I have nev...

Great place to stay

The reception staff were the most helpful & nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were well appointed. Breakfasts offered a great variety. Would definitely stay here again....
